Money you don't have to pay back.
Canada's federal and provincial governments fund thousands of businesses every year. We help you find the programs you qualify for and put together an application that gets taken seriously.

Every program has its own rules. These are the kinds of projects that are regularly funded.

Federal and provincial agencies.
Grant funding in Canada comes from several levels of government, and each one has different rules, forms and deadlines.
- Federal programs: federal departments and regional development agencies, like FedDev Ontario in southern Ontario.
- Provincial programs: Ontario ministries and agencies, plus programs in other provinces for businesses outside Ontario.
- Regional and sector programs: local and industry-specific funding that's easy to miss.

Grant questions we hear every week.
Do I have to pay a grant back?
A grant is non-repayable as long as you use it for the approved purpose and meet the program's conditions and reporting requirements. Some programs are structured as repayable or partially repayable contributions; we'll always tell you which kind you're applying for.
How long does a grant application take?
It depends on the program. Some have fixed intake windows and others review applications on a rolling basis. Once we know which programs fit, we'll give you a realistic timeline for each one.
Is grant money paid up front?
Often it isn't. Many programs reimburse you after you've spent the money and submitted proof. That's why we often pair a grant with a loan or line of credit to cover the gap.
Can I apply for more than one grant?
Often, yes, as long as the programs allow it and you aren't claiming the same costs twice. Stacking rules differ by program, and we check them before you apply.
Do you guarantee approval?
No one can honestly guarantee a grant. The agency makes the final decision. What we do is make sure you only apply for programs you're a fit for, and that your application is complete, clear and strong.
What does it cost?
Your first funding review is free. After that, we'll give you a clear, written quote before any work starts, so there are no surprises.
